Ive tried aldi for coffee but i end up either giving it away or chucking it whereas lidl i love the Italiamo espresso beans what a bargain when 30% off
But i agree everyones taste is different ive used beans from some of the beardy, scruffy, hair in a bun, fake Aussie accent, VW t5 driving artisan roasters and yet i like my lidl beans and grind them with my big Ibertital
Annoyingly, while I don't get on with the stuff they sell week in, week out, there was some ground espresso in biggish bags a while ago on the "aisle of mystery" that we quite liked. Annoying, because they don't stock it routinely, the bastards.
