Really fancy some bibs but put off by their size chart being tall and slim,
Yeah. I was a bit concerned about that.....I'm on the cusp of a sml/med so just went for the medium....
Being a short-arse I'm used to a bit of bagginess in the leg department!
@bigdaddy - sorry but they didn't send me the tornado tights either as it happens!
Size wise I'm 6'2", slim, 35" inside leg and the L bibs seem to stretch to fit ok, the XL are a little longer but the difference isn't huge so I'm probably gonna stick with the Ls. Quality feels good to me.
The XL jackets are fair to size I'd say, good arm length but the Enduro definitely feels bigger than the Tornado. Shirts are also true to size imo.

good to hear, just ordered the tornado bibs in large and I am the same build
Just placed an order, thanks for the heads up OP!
Hopefully have a few more bits of kit that fit the new slimline me!
My delivery came, all looks good value.
RBS socks are two pairs, so bargain as doesn't state that, was expecting one
Tornado bibs seem good, not sure on the pad so will need a ride to see
RBS jacket seems good, decent fit and pit zips so good for the money
Wind proof jersey is a nice cut, long at the back and long sleeves and looks like it do the job.Not a commuter cut which I like
Ordered the Soft shell.
I love polaris stuff. I'm still using a Polaris Retroactive on my winter commute from 1996!
My order came a few days ago and here are my thoughts.
I'm 5'11" for reference
Tornado bib tights are really good. Very comfy and warm. So good I ordered another set.
Tornado overshoes are very good. Kept my feet warm and dry in 1deg last night.
Thermatek winter overshoes. Look good, well made but haven’t tried them yet.
Cadence bib tights look good and fit very well but haven’t cycled in them yet.
Compression socks. Really good. Very comfy. Ordered 2 more pairs.
Dry grip winter glove. They are really good when you first put them on but don’t take them off. The lining pulls out enough to make getting them back on with sweaty hands near on impossible. I would be sending them back if postage wasn’t going to cost half of the value of the gloves. I’ll keep them for rides when I'm unlikely to need to take them off.
Got my stuff a couple of days ago but think they are meant more for race snakes. Got a couple of base layers and the medium is definitely alot slimmer than I was hopeing for. Socks seem good though. Looks like prices are back to rrp now

Just got round to trying on the Tornado bibs (S) and a jersey (M) - probably the best fitting/cut kit I've got so far.
(Much much better than Morvelo)
Must mean I'm a racing snake then 8)
So annoying! Was waiting until I got paid today to order some stuff and now it's back to rrp. Arghhh!

Yeh I was hoping to pick up some more bibs after trying them and seeing the quality.
Boxing day sale in a couple of days though so get a second go hopefully
Got my second batch now.
Windproof jersey very nice, lovely chunky zip & close but not uncomfortable fit. Just hope it's long enough and the rear doesn't pull up when riding.
Got a few more baselayers, all fit nice and seem very good quality. I'm sorted for these for the next 20 years now I reckon.
Liner gloves fit great in medium, which is a relief as I usually go large but didn't want to risk them being baggy for obvious reasons.
Winter neoprene overshoes seem good quality and chunky, hope they fit OK.
All in all a superb PSA, well done folks.
Whooop. My Cadence bibs turned up. Great fit and feel well made with decent amount of reflective bits.
I'm 5'6 with 32 waist and around a 30 inside leg....medium were fine. Legs are a little bit long, but nothing major. Small might have been ok but the M are quite snug fitting so happy overall.
As above the RBS socks are two pairs which was great. It didn't say in the description but did say at the basket it was a 2 pack so want really sure what I'd get. Nice and bright so good for roadie action...
Well my delivery arrived - I'm really happy! The base layer is really good - a great fit and seems really comfy. The tights are great too, first ride on the commute tomorrow. Great psa (second time lucky for me!)
Yep, big +1 for OP PSA.
Ended up placing 4 orders over the last 10 days. All were delivered NBD with everything as requested.
Very happy with everything so far ...
Tornado tights are excellent - already been out in them twice and they're an excellent cut and very warm.
Tornado jacket is crazy value too. Really well specced and proper comfy when biking and running. Can see how it RRPs at £95 and I got 2 for £25 each. Insane.
Base layers are epic. Prefer them to my finest HH. And they're only a fiver!
Gloves - dry grip and flouro hoolie - are excellent fit and cut.
Aquanaut holdall is the only odd thing. Looks a bit council workman and has velcro seals. But it's big, seems durable and for £20 it's more than good enough for carting around my outdoor gear at work.
Jerseys not yet opened, but imagine them to be equally good.
Must've saved £300+ 🙂
Must've saved £300+
No, you have spent £100s 🙂
Yep great PSA! I bought a few base layers which are great for a fiver - can see me using them a lot. Also got the missus a softshell, which she loves.
My kit arrived yesterday, really pleased with the softshell jsacket, cadence bibs and merino socks.
I too went back to buy some more only to find it back at RRP!
Try again on boxing day
Do we think the prices will be the same in the boxing day sale as the flash sale?
I have already done 3 orders but still feel like I need more.
One order is enough for me. Are you a hoarder? Buying for buying sake is wasteful.
Seems good quality - the neoprene gloves are very odly sized though- large is very very slender.
I bought the mediums and they're, well, medium. Same as any POC, Endura, Gore, Sealskinz gloves I've bought.
I'm sure they're supposed to be a tight fit.
No im not a hoarder. I commute 5 days a week all year and proper ride 4-5 times a week so having lots of clothes is easier than constantly washing A few items.
Long sleeve base layer with neck zip is a winner for £5! Enough of a thing to look like a general top as well as a functioning base layer. Did well on a Peak road ride.
25% off everything - today!
Windproof jersey lived up to its name yesterday on a blustery road ride, with just one of the short sleeve base layers underneath.
Not quite as good as the endura one we had a psa on recently, but marvellous for £20.
Had a proper look at the aquanought holdall today, having turned it into a Christmas gift.
Is it just me or is the closure system really confusing?
Worth checking out the current sale items as some bargain waterproof jackets etc been added.
Worn the "enduro" soft shell today. Bloody brilliant in biting winds whilst out on the hillsides.
So, is Polaris owned by Planet X?
Cha****ng - is the holdall decent? Am tempted but it's probably way bigger than I want
Is it just me or is the closure system really confusing?
Nope, just takes a bit of fettling. I like how you can roll it down tight with varying amounts of stuff in it.
I got the holdall. Bit of a bargain for a well made waterproof bag. Closure seems easy enough to me.
Does anyone know how the AM500 Repel 3/4 shorts size up?
I got the holdall. Bit of a bargain for a well made waterproof bag. Closure seems easy enough to me.
Yeah I retrieved the instructions from the bin where my wife had stored them.
Used it for a Christmas trip, quite like it now.
Got around to wearing my tornado bibs on a 100km yesterday and think its the comfiest pad I have tried
