£35 at M and M Direct - I might try a pair

but they are already washed/faded??
that totally misses the point of buying selvage denim!
Too cheap for me. I only buy jeans when they're at least £150.
Bit baggy, will stick with the sisters
Good deal but yes faded so defeats the object. I m on the 40 quid uniqlos, not washed since purchase in november.
Selvedge curious...Bought a pair to try. 🙂
The denim weight is far more important than the finish of the edge.
Poolman; what is the cut on the uniqlos like? Tempted to try some also
Wasnt he the mad scientist in Thor?
Uniqlo tend to be on the small side in the waist, while the length is about right: I tried some of their regular jeans on in That London before I went online for some selvedge denims, and when I tried on a pair of 32x34's, I couldn't get the bloody things above my thighs, and I'm no Olympic level cyclist! A pair of 34x34's fitted perfectly, though.
Sadly the really heavy indigo selvedge Uniqlo leans with button fly are no longer made, but the lighter weight selvedge with zips are perfectly fine, almost identical to 501's in most respects, and can be had in a variety of cuts, washed and unwashed.
I love them, the regular fit are excellent, none of that skinny hipster nonsense!
