Just pre-ordered Disney+ through TCB at the reduced price (£49.99) and got £15 cashback.
Makes it less than £3/month 🙂

My mate gave me the heads up and it was the nudge I needed. My cashback hasn't tracked yet but they have recorded a visit. I was probably going to sign up for £50 to be honest!

Balls! Ordered with the 50 quid deal but didn't think to go through TCB! I wander if they would cancel the order to do it again?

Was going to order it last night but didn't get chance then noticed the £15 TCB this morning.
Placed the order and cashback now tracked 🙂

Many thanks.
Was a bit undecided as to whether it was worth it, but can't argue for £35 for a year. It'll make the children happy

Yet again, Sky bundling stuff that you normally get with your standard package into something you have to pay extra for it.

Or am I wrong?

I don't, or ever will, have Sky so £35 for a year seems like a bargain to me.

It's not a Sky thing, It's Disney's own channel with all Disney stuff, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar...

You’re wrong this is streaming service provided by Disney not sky.

You realise Disney own Sky? How long until stuff (e.g. The Simpsons) disappears from the rotation on Sky and becomes streaming only on D+? Do you think we'll see any more Marvel series on Sky, as has happened previously?

Sky is now owned by Comcast, not Disney. Though seems like Disney will want to end contracts with Sky, and make more programmes exclusive to their own service.

yes, sorry, looks like it does! As you say though, inevitable that some shows will disappear from Sky in favour of D+

I've been looking into this and finding real facts a bit opaque...

I should be able to watch on PS4 - but there's no app.

My LG tv should have the Disney+ thing in the store; it hasn't.

Sky Q can carry it, but only by paying Sky directly.

Is everything going to appear when it goes live, or am I missing a trick?

@boomerlives yeah I've already signed up and am still hoping the app will appear on the LG TV app store soon. It's a bit weird even the web-site is just a "service not available yet" message rather than a countdown and maybe rolling previews.

I'm glad it's not just me!

I'd have signed up already if I some proof I could watch it.

I signed up to TCB for this. 24 h after signing up for D+ there’s no sign of anything in my TCB account. Should I be worried?

The app is on Google Play store but not downloadable yet.
I guess the TV/PS4 etc apps will be available once it goes live. Hopefully..

@timmys - TCB are stating 7 days for cash back.

The apps are not available yet because it doesn’t launch until 24 March.

Nothing tracked here after 5 days either.

Not sure how we can raise a case either, as I have no order ID and when I try and login online to D+ is just says: "Service Unavailable"

Im concerned about how to watch before signing up. Ignoring tablets & mobiles, ive a nowtv stick and non-android sony tvs...a bit of digging suggests the nowtv stick will get the app but not from the launch date

Pending for me. Was within 24hrs.
Maybe new accounts are taking longer or have to go through extra checks?

With it looking like schools will be closed soon it'd be a bonus if they could bring the launch date forward a few days! I think we've already exhuasted anything worth watching for the kids on Netflix and Amazon Prime

If you have the NOW TV App, it's meant to be watchable via that. Anyone know if you'll need to purchase subscription through NOW TV for that to work??

What other devices will Disney+ work on?
Disney+ compatible devices include most Apple devices, including Apple TV, Android phones, tablets and Android TV. Google Chromecast, some smart TVs from LG, Samsung and Sony, Roku devices, PS4 and Xbox One, and desktop browsers.

Philips has confirmed its Android-based smart TVs will support Disney Plus, and Amazon has confirmed its Fire TV devices will feature the service too.

The app isn’t released yet in many of those.

An hour left before the £49.99 offer expires if folk do want to subscribe for the year

Anyone know if there's a minimum subscription length if you pay monthly? tempted to binge it for a couple of months and then see if its still worth it after that.

Anyone else using it on an LG webOS TV? The interface is soooo slow. I push a button the remote and about 5 seconds laterit responds. It's driving the children crazy because the assume that it hasn't reigstered the click and keep pushing buttons. Then it eventually responds and goes off somewhere unintended.
Oddly once it starts streaming though it's absolutely fine.

Also, works absolutely fine on the Fire Stick upstairs.

So after raising a case, it has now tracked and been added to my account but looks like they're only wanting to pay out £11.60 based on a £38.66 spend rather than £15/£49.99 for some reason.

Likewise, takes too long, stuff gets rejected, obviously a habit you need to get into, then I suppose what do you want for free cash?

Well if you don't like the content then I guess it's rubbish. Not exactly a surprise what you are going to get on a Disney channel though is it?

I've been surprised how much I have enjoyed it, mainly due to access to the old stuff in gorgeous Dolby Vison, but also much more varied new content than I expected.

Yeah it's been better than expected but then I'd just pay for Mando, kids have used it a lot, things like Hamilton were an unexpected bonus. There is more than pure Disney but if its gritty drama you are after them it's not surprisingly rubbish.

actually there IS a surprising amount of stuff since Disney has been going around making deals/buying up other studios... Fox/FX etc (simpsons & more). Price rise next year to reflect all the extra content there’s going to be.

For £25 it was well worth the entire Marvel collection, except spidey, Star Wars collection and Pixar. Then the money shot that was well worth it for £25 The Mandalorian 2 series of Star War fan porn.

Hopefully when I come to cancel they’ll offer a deal.

Star was released today basically it’s adult Disney. Disney owns a lot of stuff so it’s pretty full of choice.
