We had a guy at work buy a sofa from DFS that wasn't in the sale. Didn't think such a thing existed!

Hmmmm. The only one I like that fits is £3k and there is no way I would pay that for a DFS 'sale' settee.

The DFS sale is the new Mayan calendar. When it ends, we're screwed.

My 3 piece suite is now 25 years old, and still comfortable and non-broken. This is because we didn't buy it from DFS....

I think my sofas *are* from DFS, are 9 years old and are still in good condition. Mind you, I don't have any kids...

Isn't the idea you buy a new sofa every 18 months ,when you completly redecorate your house top to bottom.
Ps my bed is the same one i was born in 40 ish years ago.( not a great chat up line btw).

But surely you'd still be paying for it!

On a similar note, those horrible 'pay weekly' furniture/hifi shops seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment. Complete tat with massive price tags and then daft payment terms. I feel sorry for folk who get sucked into this world of everlasting credit/debt.
