I wish someone would show ‘Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid’ again, quite possibly the best Steve Martin film ever made, and an absolute masterpiece in blending scenes from a whole load of classic black and white movies together that still manages to make sense.

All filmed around Matlock.

I spent some time growing up on that estate in the 70's/80's

Brilliant film, probably my favourite of all time

Missed X, though I have seen it and liked it.

Now watching The Thing on Film 4 +1. Excellent stuff.

Probably on film 4 internet catch up tonight. I think most film 4 films are broadcast via yagi and simultaneously on online? I watched 50% of on the TV and the rest on a tablet (not one that you ingest).

X & Pearl are both excellent. Mia Goth is amazing in both (but especially the ending of Pearl) but I somehow missed MaXXXine in the cinema.

And Dead Man's Shoes is also one of my favouritest films ever
