I'm absolutely not clicking on that link.
I can't even watch hospital dramas, so me neither
Ooh, I used to like Gang green 🤔
My sister-in-law cleans for a group of high-end holiday cottages in Derbyshire - after seeing what delights are left in hot tubs she refuses to go anywhere near them.
Back when I was an Environmental health officer we had a major Legionnaires Disease outbreak, I spent quite a lot of time talking to the UK’s leading experts in it and they all considered hot tubs to be the highest risk environments.
You won’t get the big multiple patient outbreaks from them, but they are rarely cleaned properly and you sit with your face just above the water breathing in the droplets... I haven’t been in one since!
We've a patient on my unit at the moment who developed Necrotising Fasciitis after a dip in a hot tub. Sadly they're likely going to lose their leg.
As an aside, I also have a hot tub, but am fanatical about its cleaning/chlorination regime.
Necrotising Fasciitis
there's another thing i'm never ever going to google
I stay out off all tub or pool ... shower is good enough for me.

Me absolutely clicking it ... 😅

Just googled that ... 🤢 🤮
A link to the Daily Record is more off-putting to me than the fear of viewing a gangrenous wound.

Yeah, sorry about that...
Load of piss. Chlorinate/sanatise it properly and it's fine. To get legionella in a hot tub you have to be pretty poor at looking after it!
Oh and anyone who has a hot tub and has it between 25 and 32 doesn't have a hot tub, they have a not very nice place to sit unless it's red hot outside.
Got hot tubs at work. Have to check the chlorine etc twice a day, and they are fully emptied and refilled with every changeover, so at least once a week. Plus monthly deep cleans, and sending off water samples for testing.
How many people with hot tubs at home actually look after them properly?
10/10 for bringing up the band Gang Green.
Careful what you catch in a hot tub. Back in 2000 a girl at the gym caught me! 19 years years later she still can't hasn't got rid.
In fairness they did take it a out a couple of months later because somebody at another gym in the group launched a turd.
Whole thread

Proper testing/treating the water and a 38° temperature and you'll be fine - or at least I have been for the last couple of years. I love my hot tub.

Add [images of] blue waffle to that list
PSA? I saw that as a clear instruction..WCA,clean your dirty sex pond😁
Bugger, I clicked on the link..............eeeewwwwwwww!!
Think I’d rather risk a hot tub than eating a blue waffle in all fairness.
I dare you to Google 'Fourniers Gangrene' if you want to be truly nauseated.
Proper testing/treating the water and a 38° temperature
That’s baby washing temperature. Mild tub at best 😀
I'm very sensitive, 38°c is fine for me 😀
I have a hot tub and keep it very clean, i also look after a holiday let with one, full clean out at every change over so that's sometime twice a week, hot tub itself is long term hire and gets replaced at around 18 months old.
