Just watched the mini-series on All4 about the recreation of the Jaguar XK SS cars, proper engineering geekery. Really interesting to see how they had to reverse engineer parts and techniques to do it.

Having been in one of the originals (as a passenger, sadly) it's great to see how they were evolved from the original racecars.

Just watched it all the way through. Astonishing engineering to reverse engineer it all. What is the more remarkable is how they built it in the 50's.
I saw Steve McQueen's XKSS in the Portland Art Museum, I have to say I preferred the care worn original.
