The hitch has a full size hole for an axle, might not even be suitable for QR as it would rely on clamping force/ friction to keep it in place.

Yea, I think it needs a bolt up axle to secure it (not a bolt through). Not sure I'd trust it under a QR.
Doesn't look like a great deal TBH, there's always various trailers on ebay for about that sort of price. I've got one of the single wheel bob-alikes (think it's actually the EBC one). The QR is sketchy as it doesn't 'cam over', just tightens. So I put a ziptie round it and the seatstay so it can't open.
