The work of unbridled genius continues with 45 Years of Prog and Roll. 10 o clock on BBC4 tonight
If you've not seen the previous 2 series then you've missed an absolute gem that seemed to pass largely under the radar. Worth catching up in player if you can. But it'll be brilliant tonight. I wonder who they'll have doing cameo's slagging him off tonight? Apparently he'd going on Desert Island Discs. 😀
there were 2 previous series? I only saw/knew of the 1 around christmas last year. B*gger. It was very funny and looking forward to tonight.
Worth it if only for Inspector Foyle dropping f-bombs!
Loved it. Just so many genuine laugh out loud moments. Thanks for the heads up.
Was that really the Marquis of Bath?
Looked like it to me. Fantastic telly, Inspector Foyle really has changed
the end credits, with the silhouetted tent scene...
Lucy Montgomery's accent is quite possibly the funniest thing ever.
The scene on the train with Chas and Dave. Brilliant.
Having seen Lucy Montgomery naked having 'sex' on stage at the crucible in a performance of 'Company', while I sat between my grandma and my wife on mum's annual Christmas trip to the theatre, I can never get beyond that in my mind when I see her.

And it'll worth the licence fee if they get Sam to be chief groupie!!
Episode 2
Jane Asher and Christopher Eccleston F-Bombing.
Nigel Havers playing "snooker" with Pamela Ewing.
Spandau Kemp ruining a trouser press.
Enjoyed that.
"Elephants are w...ers" !! 😆
Quality swearing.
"Alan Sugar used to fart into his hand and stick it in your face".
Just caught it on catch up - love the Long Good Friday bit at the end too - brilliant
And of course the drummer from Genesis was the star of The Long Good Friday. It all come full circle 🙂
Bob Hoskins?
Just reported on Six Music that there's a Brian Pern DVD coming out soon with 2 hrs of previously unreleased scenes, featuring a huge array of cameo appearances and swearing.
Apparently its all the same hilariously high quality, but they just couldn't fit it all in to what was broadcast on the BBC.
Theres word of a tour too
I thought he was dead.
These old rockers just can't resist one more tour can they?
