You need a GOG (Ggood Old Games) account and a VPN.
I also used a browser I don't usually use so i didn't have to clear out cookies or whatever.
Just use VPN to set to Ukraine and login etc. The game is listed at $29.99 and I was charged £24.66 on PayPal.👍

Now, when I look at the previews of Starfield it just looks utterly dated.😐 I suspect Bethesda are secretly feeling the same.

from memeory (i bought it a week or so ago) you could get BG on its own for £3.49.
Well, I'm still playing BG3 and it's as brilliant as id jumped for. Got a deal on Starfield too but not even bothered to install it. It just looks so bloody bland and derivative.
No doubt I'll play it one day but really don't feel like I'm missing much. Shame really as it could have been epic.
Starfield will all be about the mods. Tbh its not even enough to stop me cancelling Xbox Live Ultimate.

But I seem to recall it was amazing compared to something I spent hours trying on an Acorn that involved wandering a town square by square with no graphics, only text that said things like ‘a chest is in the corner’ or ‘there is a locked door’. And getting frustrated so playing Lander instead. I am old.
Yeah BG3 is a great game (I'm only not just finishing Act 2 on the PS5 version and am about 70 hours in, playing very casually :p). I can see it has a lot of replayability value to, although personally I probably never will as I get bored very easily...
