Aldi Special Buys this coming Sunday - bike bags with extra padding or 2x pack of wheel bags - £22.99

I thought my Argos unpadded bike bags were good value at £40 nearly 20 years ago

Assembly stand (work stand) also available, £19.99

I wonder if the wheel bags will take 29er wheels with decent sized tyres? Would be very handy if they do!

Picked up those lights last year. Good lights but mine didn’t hold a charge. I’d charge it up, leave it for a week or whatever and then when I went to use it it’d die within no time. Was fine if I charged it up right until I went out. Weird. I’d probably still chance it at this price though!

Has anyone got any experience of the wheel and bike bags?

I’m getting a 2 seater car and would be handy for putting the bike in the passenger seat (if the material is tough enough)

Ooh, I wonder if they’ll be doing the neoprene over-boots, mine are about knackered, but I’ve had more than my money’s worth out of them!

Has anyone used the bike trainer ? I fancy one, but my bike has a boost 148 rear axle, and I don't know it it will fit.

Are those bike bags the "wheels off, bars off, pedals off" aeroplane size, or "plonk it all in so you can carry a filthy bike into your flat or hotel" size?

Got a three year old set still working perfectly, sounds like yours were faulty.

yeah, just found:

134 x 85 x 25cm (approx.)

also this non-sensical statement

Fits 27.5" frames (29" if dissembled)

given the wheelbase will be based on the bikes size and intended utilisation, rather than the wheel diameter I fear that trail/enduros in larger sizes will not be suitable.

Would you trust these type of bags on a plane with a carbon road bike or would you go for a solid case, storage is probably a bigger issue than cost. Is the best compromise to hire one.

not a chance in hell I'd take my bike on a plane in one of those bags, hire a case.

have anyone tried the front light/camera fly12 rip off?
