Can get them on the Adidas site using the code ADIBF (40% off).  Been looking for a replacement after my old 5:10 impacts crumbled, and these sound good.

Just to temper your enthusiasm, I found the "Stealth" rubber on the Adidas Terrex shoes a big step backwards from my Freeriders.

I think the Trail Cross are great.

Plenty of grip for me such that they are only just on the side of annoying when trying to adjust foot placement. Last well, dry quickly and are nice and comfortable for all day rides.

I agree with Jon Taylor.  Fine for an XC pootle, but the second you head downhill...... no no no.

Comfy, and more splashproof than 5tens, but that's about all.

Thanks for the PSA I've been waiting for an offer on Terrex to get another pair. Plenty of grip for my racing needs.

I can do you a pair of UK8, 10 dry rides old. Immaculate. £50 posted. Brown. Laces & inner soles unused. Ebay item: 302920609036 (I like them, but needed a 7.5).

I have a pair of these, they are a nice, light trail riding shoe I think.

They are well made, and have lasted significantly better than my Impact Pros in terms of sole life.

However the reason for that is harder rubber & less grip. They are a little bit scary when racing on rough stuff, i've lost a lot more feet wearing them than my Impacts.

For the above use though, they are great 🙂

I wear a pair as every day shoes. got them for biking & they have great grip but too flexy for prolonged pedalling for me. great for a mess in the woods but anything over 10 miles of up and down trail & lane riding they make my feet ache

hmmm I used a pair for the highland trail 550 and the lakeland 150 so fine for prolonged pedalling for me, as well as on my enduro bike and jump bike. Probably not quite as grippy as  impacts but I like to be able to move my feet a little so prefer them (They are grippier than teva links and shimano AM41s, that I also have, and like). Way, way better made, quicker drying and longer lasting than my 5 10s though. Mine are still going strong.
