Sorry if already posted but I reckon this is a great deal?
I guess that answers my "what to use after VR" question.
No OCM, but then I overwhelmingly only want OCM when I have a signal. And OS when I dont.
Edit, as below. I’m just getting “inactive” promotion. No existing subscription.
Did it work for you? I’m getting a “promotion inactive” error.
Might be because my current sub runs until May though 🙁
Think it expired on 31Jan.
Boo! Got my hopes up there.
I think you need an Internet signal for the app to open which makes it pointless for me. Im currently trying outdoor active.

Incorrect. Just tried. It opens and shows the map area I downloaded yesterday on airplane mode..
It’s well worth it at the normal price. Top notch mapping.

Have contacted OutdoorActive support as I bought £90 of UK LandRanger OS maps for life from ViewRanger in 2020 and now it appears "life" is 2 or 3 years. Hoping I have got something wrong but not impressed they're removing VR. Not updating it, fair enough...
It's one of the few things I subscribe to and have to say it's worth every penny. You can log in on more than one device as well
@stripeysocks Do you mean you bought paper maps and downloaded the digital copies via the scratch code?
Edit: ignore that. didn't read a word of what you wrote, clearly!

It will open without a signal but obviously you wont be able to access the maps without a signal unless you have previously downloaded them.
TBH the maps are great but the app is a bit shonky. I've had issues with slow opening and crashes and there still seem to be issues around printing to scale. However, I haven't found anything that works better so I'm going to stick with it for now.

As others have said, if you have downloaded the maps beforehand then it works fine with no signal.
When it's annoying is when you have poor signal and it tries to load as normal but can't get good enough signal but wont let you get to the offline maps. Then have to close it, put on airplane mode and restart the app then it's fine.
I've found that if you zoom out as far as you can then each map download is roughly 200mb. Lake District can be done in 4 downloads and they stitch together seamlessly.
