Apparently the sale is to recover consumer confidence after a man with a mullet went mad with a mallet in one of their stores.

Nice PSA, tyres on order, The Mule works out at just over £50... if only Millets stocked Osprey

This looks like it could be quite a bargain:

Get's a good review here (assuming it is the same one - colours look different):

Does it work with Blacks as well since they are the same company?

No. GET10 gives 10% off on Blacks, though.

edlong - yeah fair point, hadn't spotted that. Still looks like it might be fine for £12 though:

Yeah I had no email and that delivery date, so I assumed it hadn't accepted my order, tried again, seemed to work. I then saw your post re spam folder and it seems I have managed to order twice 🙁

Great, I don't think I finished my order correctly. Can't find any record of it.
I'll see what's left.

my HD order has just been cancelled due to no stock but if they were the performance version that saves me sending them back.

Can I ask why the downer on Performance versions? Are they deemed to be poor tyres?

Its just the cheaper compound, it rolls a bit better but seems less grippy on wet roots/rocks.

Its still a pretty good price at £18, the pacestar would work better on the back (for better rolling) with a trailstar up front.

I got on fine with pacestar front and rear for the last year, the trailstar just gives more confidence on the slippy stuff imo.

the performance versions are much much less grippier than the trailstar, especially on wet rocks and roots as yorkshire says

OK on the back but still the odd surprise wash out

Id send em back
