This is a brilliant deal, but when the offer was on previously the seller cancelled saying they didn't actually have stock. I've now received an email stating:

xxsellers namexxx has cancelled the postage label for the reason below:

Label Did Not Print

Your package will no longer be sent using PayPal Postage with Royal Mail.

Sounds like some of the sellers are losing out so cancelling orders. Anyone else had this problem?

I really can't see how any sellers (non-trade anyway) are losing out. Surely the whole discount thing is subsidised by eBay?

Just won an auction after 10pm and it still worked. Must have a small mop up period.

Thomson seat post ordered.

The only snag is that The Wife has eBay notifications on her phone, and was logged into my account. So she got the notification that my seat post has just been marked as despatched. 😳 No hiding that one in the spares box. 🙄

Just looked at my PayPal summary, it shows the full amount as being deducted.

When I bought it and added the code it definitely showed the reduction applied.

EDIT: eBay shows a separate + payment, just doesn't show in the summary page on the app.

It's because the seller receives the full amount - it's just made up of a 20% voucher plus your payment.

Everyone is in the same boat
click on the item price and it will show the 20% discount as part of the payment - it is showing what the item[s] cost was not what you paid.
Mine has three bits 1 from paypal balance, 1 from the discount code and 1 from my card
