Wow! One minute they're all absolutely rubbish and the next the charts are full of excellent looking games with great reviews. I've not looked for a month or so as I've been engrossed in SHadow of Mordor and Far Cry 4. (both superb)

So, given i'm about to finish Far cry, what should I go for next.

I really want project cars but want to buy a steering wheel with it so I might leave that a little while.

Bloodborne or The Witcher. Anyone played both? Which would you recommend? Anything else I might not have seen that's come out recently? One site said The Witcher was probably the best video game ever made. That's a bold statement if I ever saw one. Actually better than GTA V? Really?
If it is I'll buy it on the way home tonight.

Bloodborne is supposed to be very hard, is that correct? I like that, much rather a game be hard than easy.

Bloodborne is hard, the witcher 3 I don't think is that good personally unless you are really into the "story", the movement and combat are crap compared to the likes of Shadow of Mordor

I've been playing Witcher for a few weeks and it really is spectacular. It's one of the few games that can pull me away from Call of Duty which is my default setting on console. It looks amazing, and the play is engrossing and non linear.

The PS4 was always a great piece of kit; it's pulling away from the others now.

Told you to wait. 😀

Far Cry 4 is good mindless fun. Battlefield Hardlines is prett good both single and multiplayer it was on offer for the digital copy not sure if it still is. I've just ordered Oblivion Online. Oh Dying Light is bloody brilliant too.

I'm still leaving Project Cars as still unconvinced by it after being stung by Drive Club.

^^ If you like racing sims then I can highly recommend Project Cars. I buy consoles out of habit more than anything these days, but this game has got me finding time to play it (online) like I haven't in years. It is genuinely excellent.

+1 for project cars. Where drive club is very much an arcade game (and now all the updates have come through, a much more finished article) PC is more of a sim, and looks glorious. Then there is the sounds of the cars.

They. Are. Savage! Sierra RS500 on full chat just sounds filthydirtynice! The old Lotus F1 cars are monsters too.

The only criticism I would throw at it is that while there are loads of different categories of race, there are only 1 or 2 models of car to choose from per category I can forgive this though as I imagine there will be plenty of DLC. That and contact with other cars is a pain, any little nudge or rub will have you off, if not upside down. So don't crash into other folk.

'Ride' is pretty good too, once you get the hang of the controls

GTA V is brilliant I jump on it every now and then even though I already played it on the PS3.
