Took my little one (just turned 4) up Super Morzine yesterday to do his first proper “big boy mountain biking”
He was awesome on the green runs from the top of Zore chairlift! No fear at all, and spent most of his time singing down the runs and stopping to talk to cows.

Did the whole of Soylent Green / Alpages (if you know it) on the PPDS route.

Best day ever!

Nice! That's a pretty chilled trail IIRC although some of the switchbacks are still reasonable steep for a young chap, chapeau!

Outstanding! I remember taking my eldest down there a few years ago. It's a great trail with some epic views.

Flashy is correct, Hope Academy/ Early rider. Light frame, Dripping in Hope kit (tech3x2 brakes/headset/stem/pedals/seatclamp and belt drive, and only £6/month rental 👍

It is great trail for learning mostly, the bit after you cross under the Zore lift and go back into the woods was the tricky bit, but he’s been practicing berms at Leeds Urban Bike Park and he did amazing on the switchbacks! (Still singing!)

Can’t describe what a great feeling it was seeing him loving it so much (and doing well at it too)

(We had told his mum we were nipping out for an hour or so to play on the skatepark by the swimming pool 😂👍)

Good work.
So enjoyable to see the wee ones riding bikes, being out in the fresh air and having fun.

They are Fox Peewee Titan in the smallest size. They are great and comfy enough he wears them all day with no fuss. Pretty cheap too really. Think we paid €25 for the set in Morzine. (So May be cheaper online?)

That’s brilliant. I keep trying to get Funk Jr interested, but kicking balls and climbing everything appeal to him more.

awesome! 🙂 hope have mine out like that in a few years

mines almost 2 and still a bit short for his proper balance bike. hoping by 3 i'll be able to take him a town over to pump track. i already have got myself a BMX in anticipation!

luckily he seems exicted about bikes and has a "walking bike" he uses in the house a lot, along with a wooden balance bike he's not so good on! he went bonkers when i his brought fat tyre balance bike one home./ got it a bit early as a L-SH-BS had it for a bargain price - heopfully he grows into it before winter comes

Really want to get out there with wee man next year but it's been about a decade since I was last there and need to swot up on how many kid friendly trails there are so I don't end up taking him down B2 by mistake.

Has anyone done a go 'Morzine with a nipper' guide with maps etc? That I could use?

If we can extend the guide to “how do you do it when both parents would like proper riding too?” it’d be appreciated!

Looks like you are having a great time and making some fond memories. It doesn't seem like two minutes since our girls were on the trails.

Make the most of it they grow up too fast
