we got our son a balance bike for his second birthday a month ago. Yesterday he was getting close to balancing, rather than just sort of pushing it along, today he nailed it! Quite a few times both his feet were off the ground for a couple of seconds, so chuffed!

My four year did his first face plant the other day riding on stones, thought it might put him off, he just wiped his tears and got back on, bless him, very proud.
our youngest was passed the balance bike on her 2nd birthday a couple of months back and has just decided she needs the bike to keep up with her sister. In the last couple of days shes started doing the feet up thing scooting downhill, what a moment even second time around!
