Anyone heard or used this way of selling a house?
Have a house that I am about to put on the market and just out of curiosity thought I'd see what the webuyanyhouse type sites.
Estate agents have valued the house at £365k so intrigued what I would get from the property buying company, I emailed them.
The quick sale price was given as £300k, oh how I laughed.
Hold on they said we can sell another way within 28 days to investors or cash buyers.
Ask a few questions about the house and after an hour call me back and say they will sell my house and I will get £360k guaranteed after all fees etc...
So how does this work then? Seems too good to be true so assume they would get so far along and then find a reason to reduce the price by which time you are probably commited and have to go with it...
If it's too good to be true...
That said, will they provide you all the paperwork and contact before signing anything? If so, and if you want to sell fast, it would be worth a good read and pay a good property solicitor to read/check also.
funnily enough they provide the solicitors and reading some reviews it looks like they get 90% there and then start lowering the price...think i'll stick with the traditional methods....
