So you drive for a living and get stuck, does your boss have to pay you for the hours youre stuck in snow, or just the basic day wage, Or even pay you anything as he hasnt earned any money from you because you havent done the required delivery or pickup.

Just curious like.

My boss is pretty good, we had one of our service tech's get stuck in the snow and he told him to check into the nearest hotel/BB on our company credit cards, he was told get want you need.

He was paid his standard salary, but was also given a bonus payment of £100 for the hassle.

I don't think they have to pay you though.

i work for stagecoach, if i was stuck id get paid for all the time i was there, but im not sure if its just a union agreement or employment law.
if they dont though, id be looking for another job tbh.
