There is a new school being planned for the Manchester area, and it is in need of a number of people with professional experience in such areas as: education, law, accountancy, marketing, health & safety, safeguarding, and human resources.
Do you work in any of these areas? If so, would you be willing to serve in a trustee/governor capacity, or at least consider it?
The character of the school is absolutely non-religious and focused on identifying young people from possible socially-deprived backgrounds, giving them opportunities in its field of specialism.
I’ll just bump this once
Might be an idea to explain what would be expected of said trustee / governor? (Or is that common knowledge and I'm just being a bit dim?)
@Cougar, you’re not being dim. Because it’s a new school, more I put would be needed in it’s early stages than once it’s fully established, but I will be happy to provide details to anyone who gets PMs me. In the meantime, I’ll also look for some text that I can paste into this thread that will provide some enlightenment.
What's the money like?
