As soon as I add a link to a Flickr photo, my posts vanish from a thread?
Anyone else experiencing this?
Just tried (for the 4th time) to post to WE ride thread:
https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/weekend-riding-photos-this-thread/
My 4th post appeared until I edited it and added a photo - then it just vanished?
Dunno about that, but this site is a laggy POS for me this morning.
Are you posting multiple pics using the website? Each pic is actually 3 or 4 URLs so if you post a few pics, it falls foul of the forums anti spam measures, that stops posts with a ton of links in them. Drop a mail to the mods and they can approve the post.
(If you post the url that the Flickr app generates, it’s just the one link per pic)
Database is about to get some more porridge. Standby, might be out for a few minutes

I just post the BBcode URL which Flickr generates - never had a problem before posting a few photos (not 100s).
But the fact the post completely vanishes does suggest it's being deliberately killed off..
and not it has magically appeared!
[You’re welcome - mods. Incidentally if anyone else has the same issue, let us know and it probably just needs us to approve the post, but we don’t get notified unless you tell us.]
Yes, I've had the same problem frequently, especially when trying to start a thread and including a couple of photos. I was told that this is a forum and not a blog.

Thanks.
So how do I notify you about a post which doesn't exist, I can't flag it as the post vanishes completely?
