Any advice for getting from Luton airport to Harlow in Essex.
Don't want to hire a car - we are there for a wedding.
With a new born and a 3y/o toddler
Any recommendations for reliable airport transfers to pre book in that neck of the woods. Will need to be a large vehicle - 2 child seats /pram and wedding nonsense so the bus isn't an option.
Cheers.
If Uber is available I’ll always use that now.
Can pre-book
Luton is an Uber area
Ah never considered Uber.....we don't have Uber here In the north
Used these from Luton to Wimbledon before went fine

Luton has stiff parking / vehicular access costs so don’t be surprised to get stung for them.

This☝️ - there is a private hire waiting area iirc though. But the drop off / pick up zone is/was about £1 a minute.... Got stuck behind many a taxi/private hire cab in there who didn't realise that they'd clocked up a £100+ bill waiting on pre booked clients. You can't get out through the barrier unless you've paid.
You'll likely want to take your own car seats with you. I'd Uber.
We used RoyalWindsor Taxis pre booked Luton to Windsor no idea if they’d cover your plans.
Nice modern merc van 9 Seater and no issues. We booked booster seats with them too.
Cheers all looking about we went with the sky airport mob as they are based at Luton and have given us a pre booking fare we thought was fair. + Are based at Luton and recommend us calling them in arrival to not incur massive charges.
On reflection Uber didn't sit well due to the unlicenced nature and general shockingnwss of the cars many times I have used them in Glasgow. Fine for me hopping bout town at low speed but not the kids and on a long journey

Ubers are licensed private hire vehicles, identical to any other private hire. You cannot (legally) just sign up and start picking up people
So I see having looked into it a bit further
It never used to be the case and we did get some right shockers of cars.not having it locally I've not kept up to date.
That means strict vehicle safety standards, licensing for vehicles, and, as of 2019, inclusion on a national database of taxi vehicles, drivers and operators.
However, Uber has come under severe criticism for how it deals with compliance matters. In 2017, the company was stripped of its London licence on the basis that it was not a “fit and proper” private hire operator.
They've always had to have had a private hire licence from 'a' local authority.... but I believe standards (e.g. max. age of car allowed) may have varied council to council. Also I remember something recently about Wolverhampton registered taxis appearing all over the place because it was the easiest authority to get registered with.
A-B came good
Gt us to Harlow in good time, sent a 6seater for us
waiting for us when the flight landed
Locals trick to make it a 5er to exit the carpark
1hr 20 in the car 99 quid all in.
