You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Why the fercking ferck are we still getting those crappy invasive adverts? Will someone from STW please explain why it's thought to be a good idea or are we using the same tired excuses as the back button saga?
Oh, and to keep the Mods happy, I'll report my own post if that's possible.
<edit> it isn't...
On mobile device or desktop browser?
You are screwed if you are using a mobile device ...
😀
Its an ad targeting tablets.
We are being paid to display it.
This helps us pay the bills.
It ends on Friday.
Mark, thank you. Are there any plans to repeat the banking frogman routine please?
Most of the ads I get are related to searches I've done, and 'private banking' isn't one of them 🙂
And Mods, doesn't bother me - IMO a bit like complaining about the advertising billboards at a free concert.

But not if it blocks your view of the entire show and slows the concert to a crawl...
These aren't the droids you're looking for

No problem here.
Block view or not as I am bored at work so I really need some surprises ...
Get as many ads as you like and as loud as they come.
Can you get very loud ads that give out sudden loud burst of noise as I really want to try it out in my office to wind up some bureaucrats.
Not a joke and I mean it.
😆
Well, let the Marketeers know, I won't be buying a Tudor or taking my high net worth to Lloyds on account of the annoying, shitty, low rent advertising. Not what is expected from genuine premium market companies... 🙂 .
Anyway, I'm done. Thanks for the explanation.
The frogman Tudor campaign is set to run until the end of March, but at a much lower daily impression target that means it should be rare to see it much. For some idea it targets only tablet users and is capped at 5000 impressions per day. Considering there are on average 25k Unique users a day tuning in on a tablet the chances of seeing it are slim..
..unless you spend a LOT of your time here 🙂
Mark, is it the case that premier members can turn the ads off?
Yup you can.
Drop the menu down by your name, select Premier Account and disable ads.
All for just £1.49 per month.
Yes.
Profile / Premier / Ad Management.

Private banking advertising on STW? Is this a forum for lottery winners now?
We are going to make a change to premier accounts that turns off ads by default rather than by you pushing a button in your account settings. You will be able to turn them on if you want.
