I paid 79p yesterday in the corner shop.

The last time I bought one I don't recall it being this much.

Is this normal?

70-80p in newsagent/ garage around here as are all the other standard bars. I remember when I was a paper boy and a twix was 12p but that was 3 decades ago! I also remember the days when I could eat wispa (or a marathon - the king of cheap choc or the biscuit boost, the young pretender) all day with impunity and remain stupid thin so I'm quite glad they seem expensive now!

56p in our vending machine, or 28p or 112p depending how well it has been stacked.

40p from out office 'tuck shop', it's refilled from Macro and relies on people being honest when putting money in the tin (mostly works apart from the ****wits that put foreign coins in there). Apparently we couldn't afford a vending machine for the office so did this instead, works better though IMO as cheaper and you have more say in what's stocked.

It was a joke, refering to you needing a time machine to go buy them that cheap.

50p at the shop on my post round , I bought one last week because I was feeling peckish . After the first bite I wished I hadn't horrible chocolate, to make up I had 2 pieces of 'Maya Gold' from the fridge when I got home.

So much win in CFH's photo!

Jealous of all the work tuck shops, we don't even have them in our vending machine. Although actually that's possibly not a bad thing!

How dare you, Pinky!

Me? With Eggbeaters? With MY reputation?

I consider that a slur, sir, a slur. Consider my gauntlet thrown. We meet at dawn, swords or pistols?

I remember when we went decimal and Mars bars were 3.5p. Then they took Purchase Tax off confectionery and they went down to 3p.

Do you spend a lot of time at truck stops?

If not, you're wasting a talent.
