I used to think that Brix was well fit, but she dances like my mum.

Had a Proustian moment as I lay on my sickbed, transported to a squat rave in Peckham in 1990.
Ah man this is great, Paris Angels - Perfume is currently going roundy roundy on the office record player (as an aside one of the guys brought his teenage daughter who had never seen a record player - we all felt incredibly old !). In the box of vinyl fun we also have New FADS, James, Inspirals and my personal fave although not Manchester - The Real People. I still think Window Pane is brilliant 🙂 Now, if anyone has that on CD I'd love a copy as while i have the sleeve for the album its got a mahoosive scratch right across it, in fact, more of a gouge !
NZCol - you've just reminded me! I've got a compilation CD called Madchester. I should list the tracks on here - see if it jogs Mr Ralli's memory (if he's still interested 😉 )

I used to work behind the bar at the Hacienda at its peak. I've seen pretty much all these bands in there. While sampling the wares of the various dodgy door-men who actually ran the place 🙂

Nzcol, I have a copy of the Window Pane Album and some Real People CD singles, just about to listen to it for 1st time in years,drop us an Email (in profile) and I will send you a copy.
Top were a good band as well, bit like the Real People, No1 Dominator was one of theirs.
World of Twist class act, wouldnt mind a copy of the Quality street album, lost mine, got a few World of Twist CD singles and vinyl like The Storm 12", superb just wish it had been pressed better.
Came across a Senser album , stacked up, in the collection, not madchester but may be what the OP was after?
