Come on, folks! Three pages of fugly? How about we redress the balance and have, rather obviously....the best looking car on sale today?
For me, these are doing it, and doing it hard.
The new V90. (OK, so not 100% on sale today, but taking orders, I believe!)

And, of course, this.

Prettiest of all.

Volvo trying really hard to look like an Audi?
Alfa Romeo 4c, end of thread Alfa 4c, she's a beauty
You wouldn't be able to see oncoming traffic to pull out on lots of the roads round these parts in that Volvo the front is that long.
That new V90 is lovely
The 4C won't carry bikes & tents. Do they do a 5dr?
Saw one of those Alfas today, looked no bigger than the Mini in front of it.
There must be loads of money in Hexham, whodathunkit.
That Alfa 4C is just amazing looking thing, but for me the 8C is nicer.
I like old 911s with the thin pillars and small wheels.
I like the newish Ferrari California.
First Honda NSX.
Volvo trying really hard to look like an Audi?
I thought it was a Merc at first, had to look closely at the lights, the DRL's are distinctive as are the tail-light clusters.
I have to agree vis the Alfa 4C, that really is a stunning little car.
But it's big sister didn't fall out of the ugly tree either...
But back in the realm of the actually affordable, I think this really is one of the prettiest cars being produced by any manufacturer, doesn't hurt that it drives as well as it looks...
Dammit but I'd love one!
That black Alfa up there looks like a catfish. Truly minging.
V90 interior...
Oh yes indeed.
That's the kind of interior you'd get molested in.
Now you're talking.
@captain I am biased but I agree totally 8)
@bikebouy, yup a great looking car
@captain you and Volvo's designers have been spending too much time in America
you and Volvo's designers
As it happens, I once shared a cab with the head of big car design at Volvo. That was in Singapore, though. 🙂
My friend has a 4c. Amazing car, shocking interior. Blistering performance (his is remapped and has a sports exhaust). Lovely thing and very uncommon on the roads (which is cool too).
Is the Abarth a re-badged MX5?
Is the Abarth a re-badged MX5?
Largely, I believe...
Basic platform is mx-5, but with Fiat / Abarth bodywork and drivetrain
That black Alfa up there looks like a catfish. Truly minging.
It's an 8C, and no, it's really not, when you stand next to it. Bloke who owns it also has one of the cars that pook posted up as well. A man with taste in cars, and lots of money.
Here's his GTO, the yellow Ferrari is his, and so's the car in the background...
Mmmmm, nice! 😀
Volvo trying really hard to look like an Audi?Or a Mazda?
They're all harking back to the Legnum (Galant Estate), which would still pan their cheeky upstart tailboxes:

Modern cars are bland.
Daytona's and 911s win the thread.
Countzero why do you think that because your mate has "taste" then any car he likes is beautiful as a fact? Nonsense.
Think the OP is asking for suggestions of pretty cars which are on sale today/new models.
King-ocelotThink the OP is asking for suggestions of pretty cars which are on sale today/new models.
Yep. I impressively mis-read.
Range Rover it is then.
But the Volvo isn't pretty, so the thread is null and void.
Some of those modern ones look pretty indifferent, at best to my eyes. All of those classics are beautiful.
With the steering wheel on the right side now!
Not sure why the picture didn't show? It was a yellow 2016 Ford Mustang.
But the Volvo isn't pretty, so the thread is null and void.
+1
But it is on sale today, unlike the truly pretty cars in this thread.
There are very few really pretty cars on sale today, and this is the prettiest!
but it ain't all about money and powah,
Prettier by far than the "retro" efforts from fiat, vw, etc...
A VAUXHALL ADAM!!!! OMG! WTF!
suburbanreuben you should get a lifetime ban for that! 😀
All the cars on on sale today - second, third or fourth hand 😉
Pretty and on sale now - long nose and short nose configurations available

I doubt I'm alone in thinking all your contributions so far fall into the same category.bikebouy - MemberBut the Volvo isn't pretty, so the thread is null and void.
That 4c looks alright from the side, pity about the trypophobic headlights and them not bothering to find somewhere to put a front licence plate so stuck it on with blutack.
Still for sale:

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no!
@JHJ, that was what I was thinking too, definite legnumishness. Estates basically can't be that pretty so you've got to go for brutal elegance and presence.
Hoping the new Mazda 5 RF is as pretty in the flesh as it seems in the pictures I've seen...
The interior of that Volvo is a festival of beige.....
We're not getting any younger. Go on, embrace the beige!
Annnnd, yes, those that criticise the posts I made fail to post anything.. 🙄
Off you go, prove me wrong with your choices.

I like old 911s with the thin pillars and small wheels...new Porsche's are grim!
Modern cars are bland.Daytona's and 911s win the thread.
Countzero why do you think that because your mate has "taste" then any car he likes is beautiful as a fact? Nonsense.
I didn't actually say that, he has taste regarding a bunch of cars he owns, like a very early racing Aston Martin, a racing D-Type Jag, a lovely vintage blower Bentley; the yellow Ferrari, while imposing as a proper racing car, that he races along with his wife, is not a particularly attractive car, to my eyes.
In fact, I don't think Ferrari have produced a good looking car since the 250 GTO and the little Dino.
And he most certainly isn't 'my mate', he's someone who lives locally, has a shitload of very interesting cars, and I've met him once.
And your comment about modern cars being bland, is either disingenuous or just daft; modern cars are showing some of the best styling, at least in regular production cars, in many, many years, the likes of Citroen are building cars which are distinctive and have real flair, go back ten years and most cars were bland and uninspiring.
The current Astra is one of the best looking Vauxhalls in decades, not that that's a difficult thing to do, quite honestly.
Those Renaults with the fat behinds were pretty horrible as well.
The new MX-5 is anything but bland, it's a stunning little car.
All in my humble opinion, of course! 😉
Hooli wins, hands down.
That is truely a thing of beauty.
The Cobra is many things, not that pretty though; too many bolted on bits.
The Audi R8 isn't pretty; it's too long. Audi know this, that's why they paint the awkward bit in the middle a different colour.
That Fiat 124 Abarth is a really pretty thing; I had no idea they were making one again. Much prettier than the new MX5 which looks miserable.
I saw one of the Merc GTS this week, at a customers premises.
Not seen one before, it is really nice in the flesh not as nice as the new Porsche though.
Also another chap came in this week with one of his four AC's on a trailer, just been re sprayed, it did look pretty.
ScottChegg - MemberThe Cobra is many things, not that pretty though; too many bolted on bits.
The one pictured has chrome side pipes, chrome roll hoops, chrome bumpers and chrome kick plates. Those parts need not be there, and they certainly don't need to be chrome. The Cobra is an iconic car and not half bad looking. Some are ott though.
The Audi R8 isn't pretty; it's too long. Audi know this, that's why they paint the awkward bit in the middle a different colour.
If it was too long they would have painted the intakes the same colour. Having them contrast breaks up the profile and accentuates the rear haunches of the car. You can spec them black, carbon or body coloured iirc. It's a moot point anyway since the R8 is the same length as a 911, 6 cm longer than a Cayman. It's not a long car, unless a Smart car is the benchmark.

It looks like an MX5 with a body kit. And not in a good way.
Having opinions is fun.
