Made a bit of a boo boo. Thought i'd ordered screen washer fluid from Eurocarparts, turns out I ordered *pressure* washer fluid.
https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/simoniz-pressure-washer-fluid-5litre-552996360
Anyway, about a litre of it is now in my car and van.... is this bad???
I reckon it depends if it's fluid for graffiti removal, fungus infected patios, or car shampoo... And how much its meant to be diluted!
Edit: general cleaner... I'd pop the hoses off the jets and pump it out. Might be a bit foamy and dangerous when driving!
Good plan. Foamy at 80mph would not be ideal!
If you're pumping out the entire 5-10L tank (assuming it's full of that and water), don't do it all in one go as washer pumps aren't designed for long continuous periods of operation - may overheat and burn out. Alternatively you could siphon most/all of it.
You could put the hose pipe in it and flush it out. Push it to bottom and leave it flowing for 5 mins
What bikebob says.
10 minute job.
8 mins to flush
2 mins to re-fill with the correct jollop.
Tools required - Garden hose.
Depends if or how concentrate it is, check how dilute(for pressure washing) a litre should be.
Mega concentrate took the laquer off one side of a car I had, but that was put on undiluted by a friend after I plugged his exhaust with a potato when it was parked directly in line with a greenhouse, worked treat, took out both panes and the top of a fax machine that was sitting on a table inside, beat that sucker, he did..by removing a layer of paint from my car.
Ok, i get that you ordered the wrong thing, but how did you end up putting it into the washer jet bottle ?? Are you Mr Magoo ? 😉
Did you guys never learn how to siphon petrol out of a tank using only your mouth and a bit of hose?
🙄
