Looking at wood preservative for garden furniture. It’s already been painted in a coloured finish with a paint type finish, no idea what though.

What would stw recommend for furniture? I see Cuprinol ducksback for Shed and fence is much cheaper than the equivalent furniture one. Could I use that?

I used the ducksback on my shed, it's not coming off except where I put on far too much, and it shows pretty decent water repellancy. I've not used it for furniture but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

The colour you get won't be the colour on the tin, though- I chose a nice light brown and got a sort of curry yellow.
