I’ve just finished watching the third series of Daredevil (really good btw) and was discussing it with a work colleague. I mentioned how Vincent D’Onofrio was particularly great as Kingpin. My colleague then casually dropped a bomb on me. Vincent isn’t actually bald. What a bastard!
All these people whining on social media about actors pretending to be something else like, well, they’re acting a part or something and here is Vince pretending to be bald. That’s taking a job from a real big man who is genuinely bereft of hair. Thank God the other fella is actually blind or there’d be hell to pay.

Is it better than season 2? I enjoyed all of the Marvel season 1s apart from Iron Fist (obviously) and Defenders, but the season 2s have been a bit pish.

Anyway, watched a lot of them as I'd previously enjoyed The Punisher, him and Kingpin were the only good bits though. Rest was a bit dreary.

It’s more like season one. Lots of punchy punch and no magic bollocks. A bit like a crime drama, but with more fighty violence. Still can’t believe he’s a bald faker though.

The Netflix marvel series are outstanding. They are full of brilliant character development, far more depth than most. I love them. Even Iron Fist. Of course, if you just like goodies beating baddies it might not be quite so much fun.

Iron Fist is definitely the weakest of the series. Watched one episode of Iron Fist and noticed it was directed by someone who had a remarkably similar name to an old school friend (same surname but only using the initials of his first and middle name). I knew he was a director these days so did a quick internet search and on his Wiki page it said she grew up in England and she went to this school and she did this and that. I was pretty confused until I did an image search to find out he is now in fact a she! 😮

I only watched Iron Fist so that the others in the Defenders series' would make sense. The most recent season was better, because they minimised how much Danny Rand was in it.
