I was just wondering if a pressure washer for around the £100 mark exists that is reliable ,good enough for bikes, drive ways and general use. I’ve always hand washed my bikes but after moving into a new build I want to keep my drive and garden clean and it’s a pain hand washing this time of year. I do have a outside water tap and don’t require a mobile one unless they have benefits such as value for money.

Definitely need something reliable that won’t break after five minutes unlike some karchers I’ve used in the past.

I guess some have variable power but anything powerful enough for driveways is going to knacker bike bearings shirley.

I'm v happy with my JetWet for bikes etc but not enough power to clean driveways I would think.

I’ve got a nilfisk - was about £60 from amazon and more than good enough for the drive. It doesn’t go anywhere near my bikes!

I bought the Halfords own brand one which is currently 50 quid. The first thing I did with it was spend around 9 hours over a weekend blasting 10 years of filth and grime off a double driveway and back yard.

Fully expected it to have a meltdown during that but it's still fine. Used it for cars, vans, bikes ever since. No problem.

I got the McAllister from B&Q. Not sure what I paid for it but it wasn't much more than your budget and I rate it.

Have a look on the karcher outlet site. They often have some bargains.

+1 for nilfisk, although the patio attachment was about as much use as a sponge leg.

Unless you stand further back and just take a bit of care.

You could do that. Or just use the best/right tool for each job. 🤷‍♂️

Pressure washer is completely fine for bikes, done it many many times on a full suss. Just don't go 5cm away from bearings, pretty simple.

If you have an outside tap, why would you need anything but a hose to wash the bike down?

Don't put a good pressure washer near a bike. Way too powerful. Hose the bike off then soap and sponge.

I walked into Halfords picked off the shelf a Karcher K2 on the eve of the last lockdown and its done 5 or 6 car washes, a decking and some driveway with no issues.

I did spend extra money getting a hose extension as was advised its annoying having to move your pressure washer when all plugged and plumbed in mid car wash to go around the other side.
