OP, you're hardcore! The most I used to manage 20 or so years ago when a midweek tipple was the norm rather than exception, was maximum 1, usually a half would do, as we all were trying to keep ourselves employed.

But then again, the double dove's,  2cb's  and mitsi turbo's needed to be treated with respect 😆

Parents-in-law visiting. I mean, they're fine, but self-medicating with some alcohol could make it a lot more bearable.

Thus far...

bourbon and coke

sailor Jerry’s and coke

now onto neat Caribbean rum....

Jet lagged kids = stress and late nights = daddy drinking.

(That’s what I’ll put as my epitaph)

A single (house measure) Dalmore 15yo. My weekend also started tonight, but I've sacrificed 2 days to ensure Mrs notlocal isn't single crewed on the Ambo tomorrow and Saturday. Night night.

Had a few pints of Guinness, quite a few JD Fires, some Jager bombs and a couple of Patron XO Cafe coffee tequila liqueurs.

Taking it easy as I was working, tomorrow is when it will kick off.

One pint of Proper Job.

Lovely pint.

Managed to hold off until the weekend proper. Got a couple of jobs to attend to this evening and then a couple of Aldi's rather nice Wild Bill IPA followed by a nice bourbon or two. Makers Mark or Knob Creek I think.

Very noble time and half noble. 😂

I do like a Grimbergen and still got a couple at the back of the cupboard from a recent visit to the Belgies. Been invited around to a friends for tea tonight so what booze to fuel a Parkrun?

Stopping off at Sheppys Cider on the way home to top up my flagon with their draught medium. Love a cider farm being on my commute home.
