had a mortgage from 1990 to 2002 with lloyds , problem is we dont have any old statements , we didnt take insurance from lloyds but from another company , lloyds dont keep records after 6 years so would there be another way to find out who the insurer was ? thanks

TBH, if you opted to take PPI from another company it's unlikely you will have been "mis-sold".

yes , but we where sold this from an estate agents that was tied to lloyds (black horse agency i think) iam sure it was recommended by the sales rep at the time we took the mortgage
