I'm looking at buying a battery DeWalt chainsaw and powertoolmate have a good deal. Has anyone got any experience of buying from them?
Bought from them a few years ago. Only some Festool fittings. Price was good, parts arrived. Not much to say but no issues.
It's part of Westward, a building supplies company just outside Plymouth with a proper warehouse shop if that matters.

They are one of - if not the single biggest power tool seller in the UK. Trade as 'Westward building services' or somesuch.
They sell a LOT on ebay and almost always are part of the 'ebay special deals' : as a Milwaukee user I dont know if Milwaukee's rebarrage of emails about only buying from authorised sellers applies to their ebay sales. But for sure - the warranty from Westward / Milwaukee in my experience is 100%
Fairly local to me, bought loads from them.
Not always the cheapest , but 95% of the time they are. I’ve always paid the little extra for next day delivery and they’ve always turned up on time. Can also do click and collect now if I’m down that way
They’re great, I use them loads. One of the few that actually send a VAT invoice for my books without me having to hound them for it as well.
They're great until you need to deal with their customer service, at which point they're hopeless.
I used to use them quite a bit, but after having to deal with their customer service a couple times, I now refuse to deal with them.
