Hi All,

Need some help with my TP-Link powerline extender please. The thing has been great, easy set up and has just been working away in the background with the occasional on/off required.

Now, when the powerline is switched on, I cannot connect to the internet. The status is Limited Access and gives the "this computer currently has limited connectivity to *** unidentified network, no internet access" line.
Switch off the powerline and connect via the home hub and all is fine - can connect to the internet as normal (though sometimes the connection becomes limited access for 30 seconds or so then its sorts itself out and has full connectivity again).

I have done the on/off on the powerline & home hub, reset the powerline and re-paired. I am at a loss.

After the last reset I thought it had been fixed, had full connectivity via powerline for 30 seconds then went to limited again.

Any ideas how to fix? Its really annoying me now. Thank you for any help!!

Cheers,

Hi all,

Just following up my OP - still not managed to fix this.

Any other help? Before I go and buy a new router and hope that fixes whatever has happened!

Thanks in advance.

i had the same problem. I switched off all the tp units, restarted my router, then added the tp main box. checked i could still use the internet. Then when that had done its stuff, added the furthest away unit.
