I want to be able to charge my bike lights without taking them off the bike so looking at a way to get power into my shed.

I don’t want the hassle of running mains to the end of the garden so wondered if there was a decent alternative way of doing it. I was thinking of perhaps buying a cheap power bank and maybe a cheap solar panel (with a micro usb output) from amazon - any reason why this wouldn’t work well enough? Prob only need to charge the lights a couple of times a week.

Cheers

Powerbank would seem the way to go. No point in solar panels because the half year you use the lights is when there is least sun.

With a big powerbank you should get a few charges before needing to recharge the powerbank in the house.

You could just buy one of those car jump starter things, they have a massive Lead Acid battery in them and often have a 12v accessory socket. Just use that and take it into the house once a week to recharge.
