I've sold a 700c wheelset and now need to post them.
Anyone have any experience of doing this?
I did a ParcelForce quote before listing, and got a quote of ~£16, but now when I go back, either the parcel is just too large, to post at all, or is going to cost £40 making it uneconomical!
Any advice?

Paisley freight.

They have a ‘bike wheels’ option

£17.50 plus whatever you want to pay for insurance.

I actually sent a frame, but it was in a wheel box, they didn’t ask so I didn’t tell...

My Hermes have delivered 3 sets for over the last month with no problems. Around £10 I think including insurance for next day,

I posted a few pairs earlier this year - get a wheel box from your LBS, Parcelforce was about £13

Don't use Parcel force, I've had two wheel boxes "lost" by them. Apparently not scanned when collected from the retailer.

+1 for paisley, I used them this week to pick up 2 wheels incl tyres and deliver them to the other end of the country the next day for £16.
