Does anyone have experience sending (li-ion) power tool batteries in the post? These will be sent with a drill if that makes a difference?

TIA

Are you sending in the UK? Are you planning on using Royal mail?

If so fit it to the drill and and declare it as electronic items / power drill with the battery fitted when they ask at the post office / prompt you online. Post office clerk should stick a un3091/un3481 battery sticker to the parcel and your good to go. They will not accept the parcel if the battery is not fitted to the drill and is loose in the box. Online Id guess royal mail should provide a PDF of the same sticker to be attached to the box.
