Using an iPad post image and photo bucket no longer working.

postimage but that seems down now
Imgbb.com works for me. Gives you the imbed codes as well, upload, select full linked image html, paste in the reply box.
Set up an account and you came save your image there too for future uploading of the same image.
I often think that it is one of this forums biggest failings. The number of times I have thought of posting photos or images but CBA due to the faf.

Another happy imgbb user. In some ways it's easier than a forum based uploader. Could be easier but it's not that bad.
My only concern is what happens in the long term. Does imgbb keep them forever? There's a car forum use that got hacked and all images lost. It's a bit frustrating when you find the solution to your problem with a load of potentially helpful pics but none of them are actually there.
I just googled and found an apple shortcuts workflow to upload to imgur and copy the URL to the clipboard ready to paste.
Here’s a link to the workflow and here’s an image I used to test that it works.
If you’re not familiar with apple shortcuts you can get the app here for iPad and iPhone. It’ll add a new action to the share menu which you can open from the photos app. Here’s a gratuitous picture of where you can find it because it’s so easy to share an image now.

It's a bit convoluted and it's been a while since I did it but....
Switch to desktop mode.
Click the little share icon bottom right of photo (photo must be 'public')
Choose 'bbcode' and copy it.
Paste it into the forum box as it is and that should be it.
Flickr on (i)phone, just go to the photo, click the share arrow, select ‘copy URL’ then paste that in the text box here.
(Image must be public)
I have my own Web space and just upload to that. Keeps me in control of it all then and less danger of it suddenly being switched off.
