You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I knew how to do this on the old forum but can't for the life of me work out how to do it nowadays. Using Dropbox as hosting platform. Anyone able to explain in plain English? Ta.
Dunno about dropbox, but most pics you just right-click, copy, right-click and (if you can find the right spot) paste.
Copy the image URL to your clipboard. Click on the image icon above the "Reply To" box. Paste the image URL into the pop up box that appears. Very simple.
What you need is the link to the actual image not the page it's hosted on. The previous forum code could work out what to do, the TinyMCE editor can't.
Copy and paste that into the first field in the "Insert picture" dialog. Now click in the next field in the dialog - "Image description" and the image dimensions are loaded into the width & height fields. Don't know why it doesn't happen when you fill in the image URI but without doing that your image will have width and height of zero pixels. Finally click the OK button.
Dropbox the pic needs to be public
Ah - got it. Thanks all.
Why you make it so complicated whitestone?
@DezB - I've found that unless I click in the second field then the image doesn't appear.

But having just tried it with the above image from imgur, it seems that it now does work without having to do that.
Nah still can' do it.
The update made it so much easier , Genius!
Upload to Imgur.
Right-click, copy URL, paste here.
Dropbox is not a photo hosting site.
