This seems to happen randomly, but sometimes when posting pics from Photobucket I preview the post and I just get the image address in text and no image.
Anyone else had this issue?
I know I am posting correctly as other times the image posts no problem. I usually use the IMG button and paste the direct link, but also have tried just pasting the IMG link into the main post box to no avail.
I'd try just posting the image regardless and seeing if it resolves itself once posted, but don't want to clog up threads with broken image posts.
Are you at work? Photobucket gets snagged by proxy servers sometimes.
I've never noticed you can preview a post before, that should save me a bit of editing!!

Yes, not taken any notice of where I have been posting from before so may be that. I don't have any issues viewing images as such though.
If I just post what I know is correct (IMG button and paste the direct link) will it just show up OK once posted then regardless of what is shown in the preview?
Hypothetically, 'preview' and 'send post' should do the same thing, though I have known preview to be a bit quirky.
Point is, if it is your proxy then just because it doesn't show for you has no bearing on whether it shows for anyone else.
One way to find out I suppose. Post something and I'll tell you if it's worked.
