Click on the thumbnail in Flickr

Above the image next to the facebook and twitter icons is a dropdown box labeled 'share', click that

Click on Grab the HTML/BB Code

Select the size you need from the drop down box

Select BBCode

Copy all the text in the box

Paste into thread

Back again, since i last posted the flickr site seems to have change. No longer is the share option available or is it just me.

Cannot get Bb code etc....AAAARRRRHHHH

The share option is a little box with an arrow exiting top-right. It's at the bottom right of your photo.

Hey I have an issue where I can no longer grab the relevant piece of code just the whole string and then have to edit it down once it's in the box, is this this same for everyone? I seem to remember it changed about 12months ago..
EDIT: I might like you guys but not in a romantic way...

No need to edit just copy and paste as it is. Scotroutes has it there's a little arrow coming out of a box click that then grab html/bbcode code select bb on the bullet points then copy.

Ok so every time I click the wee box with the arrow, nothing happens...

I get all of this ^^^ and then edit it down to this vvv:

to make it work but can only do that after posting it on here.

I've never understood folk using the share option to get the code (unless you want people to be able to go to your flickr page). I just view the image in the size I want, copy the image location (right-click) and insert that between the IMG tags on here.

That's the HTML. You need to select BBCode in the wee radio buttons underneath the code, then copy the code and paste it all here (with no tags)

If I'm posting, it's often just one of a set. It makes sense to leave the link in tact. It also lets folk click through to the bigger version.

People seeing and commenting on your photos is the [b]whole point[/b] of Flickr - it's a photographer's community site.

It should give you the option of the HTML/BBCode, click the BBCode button, and copy everything that's in the box, then paste into the text box here, which should, if I've done this right, show a photo...
