Thanks metalheart, I had a mental block and could only remember that his username started with a "J".
I particularly miss jahwomble. He was exceptionally gifted with an amazing intellect imo, and who iirc was mentally scarred and tortured by post traumatic stress as a result of his experiences in conflict zones.
It's been over 5 years since he took his own life and I for one still miss his contributions on here 🙁

The 3-word limit on tags disappeared. While it was in place it did encourage folk to be creative.
The other change was that you could previously tag without posting. Now you only get the chance when you post something. I guess it might have reduced anonymity a little.

For those missing BigDummy, he is still in HK as far as I am aware (ride with him locally and on location occasionally), great bloke and fun social commentator but seems to have kept his head down on that front recently.

Louisa-aka-Bliggy and Mike-aka-BigMike.(I may have got the names wrong) So much teen angst, didn't Mike grow up to be a normal adult and is still on here? I don't think Louisa actually had a bike?
Big Mike is pretty much everything he wasn't 10 years ago (but then he is 30 now!)... He only lives about 1/4 of a mile from me, despite that, I've not seen him in years! He's on facebook though. He's a head chef at a well regarded restautant these days, he's married, owns his own house etc. Don't think he rides any more (certainly last time I saw him he mentioned he was thinking of getting back into it, but I didn't hear off him then in ages), he seems to be a "1940's enthusiast" for lack of a better word (pics of him and his missus in WW2 time garb in pretty much every picture he posts).

I very rarely visit the site these days, but reading this thread brought back some good (and one or two not so good) memories. I'm no longer riding, since the motorbike accident left me with brachial plexus damage (I have little or no movement in my right arm). I'm currently trying to get over a recent spinal injury (fractured vertebrae), which as you can guess is a barrel of laughs, but hey-ho, I'll get through it. I'm no longer nursing, and at the moment I'm filling my time with day time television and rampant self pollution. Hope everyone's keeping ok, it's nice to be back.
