Ok, most of us have been tempted by one thing or another, but a true bargain is hard to pass, so apart from the DFS half price sofas what have you stumbled across?

I'll start with this, a decent DAB for a decent price.

I would of snapped one up if I didn't already have a decent Pure offering, what have you seen?

Cheers.

DFS half price sofas? That's all year round aint it...

What they should do is a 'Full Price' sale on Bank Holiday Monday...

Half price Seiko automatic wrist watch at Market Cross jewelers in Durham.

Bought (black face SPR011k1 model) this for myself half price at £137. I think they still have one with a white face and two other with leather strap which is £5 cheaper.

[img] [/img]

The other automatic ones are:

SRP013k1 model.
[img] [/img]

and

SRP015k1 model.
[img] [/img]

So if you want reliable automatic watch then they are for you. Non-hack second hand by the way.

More pics here.

Has anyones Roberts radio turned up yet?

Mine was due yesterday and it didn't come & the courier states that my tracking ref doesn't exist!

Spoke to a guy at the coop electrical who seemed clueless and promised a call back, which didn't happen.

Have I been done?

Please put my mind at rest and tell me yours arrived!

I bought a small 3/8 ratchet set for £17 in Halfrauds. Life time warranty and metric bits. Reduced from 8- to 40 and £20 (it had no cardboard box)

I only wanted a 3/8 ratchet for £20 as I already have spare bits and my old ratchet broke.

😛

And argos for washing machines £20 more than the cheapest places but 5 yr warranty cheaper by £60 makes Argos top washer buy if you're spending £350+.

To the above (over there) poster, Nice watch btw.

That 20% off everything sale at GB Cycles, also applies at Bike Plus (same company) as I discovered today.

Although it's not made clear on their website.

Has anyones Roberts radio turned up yet?

Mine turned up but I was surprised that it was literally the Roberts box with the postage sticker on it. The box wasn't sealed and could have been opened by anyone. Thankfully it was ll there...nice radio. My only gripe is that its pretty much all controlled by the wee remote control which wasn't working that well...going to get a spare I think as if we lose or break it, you might as well bin the main unit

John Lewis in London (presumably elsewhere) has a load of women's Gore Bike Wear stuff half price - lycra tops, windstopper shells, goretex paclite waterproofs. My gf picked up one of the windproofs at £45 rather than £90 and it's very nice.

Also got a Leatherman Skeletool CX at half price (£45) although it's barely more than that on amazon.
