I keep thinking I should get a Chromecast, but keep hitting a brick wall when I wonder what i'd do with it.

I bought everyone's Christmas presents in actual shops last night, on a credit card. "Calm Thursday x".

I haven't spent a single penny today. Bit shit I can't get in to do my Tesco food shop though.

At CRC - Shimano XT chainset + Set of XTR gear cables, then using BF2014 code came to £85.98. Seemed pretty good.

was busy being outraged by it all, then the airfix email arrived in my inbox. Seconds later, I have my first ever Black Friday souvenir;

http://www.airfix.com/shop/black-friday-sale/apollo-saturn-v-1-144.html

£27 off, that's my xmas sorted.

I'd imagine that watching porn on a mahoosive telly is actually quite intimidating 😯

Assume that's Merlin? That's the best price in the UK, now CRC have sold out.

Saying that, if CRC get stock back in before the BF2014 code expires, 4pm 02/12/14, it's possible to get a set for £320.

[s]Pleb[/s] Plod is right it's a complete waste of resources, people should be allocated a ticket and allowed one bargain each let in a controlled manner.

Nobby...I owe you a beer!

I've been hunting through shops trying to find new snowboard kit for the last week or so and loved the DC Amo jacket, but couldn't find it in my size. Eventually tracked it down and was going to sort it out when I got home.

But, after you posted that link, I've just picked up the Amo jacket, Recon pants and Seger gloves for £150....was supposed to be £367!!!

You've just saved me a fortune.

Trawling through their site, I just came across this Tacx workstand less than half price.

Normally I'm obsessed with their deals on Park, so missed this beauty...

Sorry Drac, it's my LBS I've been trawling to plug him. If you saw his blog that I linked to recently, he's struggling I like having a physical store that doesn't mean an hours round trip.

If I've overstepped the mark, I'll apologise, but there's enough links to CRC on here and I doubt anyone hasn't heard of them...

X

Quiet day in the office, so too much time on my hands.

I'm going home now, so no more.

Consider myself told!

Fwiw i have one of those tacx stands and it's very good.

Only issue has been needing to put some carbon paste on the head tube to stop it twisting with a fat bike with the front wheel out clamped in it.

Best I have seen is Halfords Pro 200 piece socket set for £125.
This is by far the best price I have seen for this in over a year. I bought one last week for £135 and though I had got a bargain (£150 minus 10% code from here!).
If you need a socket set then you won't do better. Offer is on all weekend from their website front page.
