send an email to it... if it bounces back... it's invalid..

Ive been given an address that probably isn't correct. The 'giver' is a non English speaker so there's a bit of a comms problem and I'd like to independently confirm his address if poss.

I know the chap, he's just not very tech savvy and doesn't speak Engrish.
Ask him to email you. Reply to it.
Yeah, I did. Comms are a bit arm wavey as my French doesn't extend to email support and his English is at zero.
