I'm looking for a portable DAB radio with the following features
Bluetooth connectivity
Takes AA batteries
Doesn't look 'retro'
Around £60 or under
Any recommendations? Thanks.
Doesn't quite meet your criteria, as it's £69 and rechargeable, but I recently bought one of these - Goodman's Go Stream.
However, it's got Bluetooth, is splashproof, can charge your phone, has a robust rubberised coating and it gets a decent signal most of the time. The battery lasts around 3 days of being used maybe 6-8 hrs a day.
It's not stunning sound quality, the on/off button is a bit clunky and the aerial is a bit fragile. That said, it's survived 3 months on site with me, getting slung in my toolbox every day.

Oh that looks ideal, it for garage use so robust is good. Ta.
I can only find that goodmans on thier own website. Is that where you got it from TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsSTR
Yeah saw that one but that's a dash go rather than go stream. Dunno if it's any different.
Got mine online from Maplins mate

That Dash ^^ looks the same though
I was in john Lewis this morning and had a look. They had one reduced to £49 as it had been opened so bought that. Only criteria it misses is battery size but that's not a big deal.
Interested in the Goodmans go , how good is the bluetooth feature and how would you describe the speaker sound overall ? (Loud and adequate enough for garden ?)
I don't know if they have improved recently but when i bought my dab radio a few years ago, dab radios were notorious for eating batteries, DAB = destroy all batteries.
The Goodmans has a built in battery and seems fine so far
@ kaskenmoor - I've not actually used the Bluetooth yet, will try it this week. The sound isn't what you'd describe as 'amazing' - say compared to a Bluetooth speaker such as a Bose Soundlink, or Sony SRS, but I find it adequate for listening to whilst working on site
