people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit [of] distrust, doesn't it?"

He also criticised those who invest in weapons industries, saying "duplicity is the currency of today ... they say one thing and do another".

jhj, I'm sure you'll tell us the right answer.

Besides, I'm rather surprised that you haven't 'linked' the pope to arms dealers through the interpretive medium of random photos, youtube videos, conjecture and insinuation.

CEO of a massive global corporation who has presides over brainwashing, cruelty, prevents the use of life saving contraception to prevent the spread of disease and hasn't fully dealt with the peado's in his organisation is in a poor place to judge others.

I think so.

I'm no jombiejesusandcoleaderman fan in general, but this one does talk a lot of sense.

After the Virginia Tech shootings, the shooter was described as having "an unholy quantity of ammunition". So I asked a former Bishop of Edinburgh what a holy amount of ammunition might have been. He suggested anything from the plagues.

So maybe the Pope is saying arms dealers are lacking in imagination or ambition with bullets and bombs. For a real biblical seal of approval they need to up their game and do Death of the Firstborn, Deceased Livestock, Locusts etc.

Mind you I've just noticed the similarity between Pope Francis and The High Sparrow which links them, hence proving that GoT is all just a big conspiracy to get us controlled by the control structures of the political and religious elite, etc.

I don't know what Operation Condor is but I've played Operation. Is that the sort of thing you mean. Or is Operation Condor a film?

Good call, I was picturing Condorman but ended up thinking of Mysterious Cities of Gold:

Operation Condor was in the same general area...

And as is often the way with covert CIA Ops, it involved Henry Kissinger a Vatican Knight of Malta

I can't imagine that they make suits of armour out of delicious chocolate coated honeycomb confectionery.

Well chocolate is associated with the death/rebirth of zombie Jesus, so who knows?

Wonder how many big players in the global arms and intelligence industries have chocolate protection garments provided by the Vatican?

What, you reckon the Swiss banking system plays a part... do they smuggle Nazi gold in Toblerone wrappers, then reclaim it all at the recycling depot?

Speaking of bankers, I like this ditty:

There comes a point where I'm wondering if JHJ has become too much of an imitation of himself, has MI5/CIA/Lizard Underlings got to him?

Be good if the Pope does clean up the Vatican, but he'll have a big job ahead of him... Along with Henry Kissinger, George Bushes Jr and Snr, Jeb Bush and Rupert Murdoch, Tony Blair is another Papal Knight of Malta

Yeah but we all knew that he like Maltesers. That's hardly news.

I want to know who's the biggest Toblerone fan because that will clearly be the best way to identify the people involved with the high level control structures, etc.

To be fair, I have been impressed by much of what Pope Francis has been saying... whether it will translate into real change is yet to be seen.

As for George Pell, knew I'd heard that name somewhere:

Cardinal George Pell helped shift paedophile priest Gerald Ridsdale between parishes, royal commission hears

SECRET church documents tendered to a royal commission reveal that Cardinal George Pell helped move Australia’s worst paedophile priest between parishes.

The revelation at the inquiry into child sexual abuse has sparked calls for the former Archbishop of Melbourne to return from The Vatican — where he now oversees the Catholic Church’s finances — to explain his involvement in the handling of vile pervert Gerald Francis Ridsdale.

The shamed priest has spent decades behind bars and has admitted molesting at least 54 children across Victoria.

But the total is thought to be more than 200, as he was routinely moved between parishes despite a string of complaints against him.

You referring to Pell? was he one of Francis's hires?

Would you rather that he didn't criticise others?

not at all, but partly put your own house in order first. Yep the new Pope picked him for the finance job just as it was coming out that he covered up serious amounts of stuff and tried to pay off victims for their silence and lower compensation.

Anyway my other issues with basic healthcare and bigotry don't help, you know that thing about no chucking the first stone and all that crap

But jhj, he's part of the overall control structure or at best a puppet of your big exciting conspiracy so why would you even consider what he actually says as having any meaning?

Makes you think?

Well you see...

If as Monkey Magic's wonderful intro seems to suggest:

'With our thoughts, we make the world'

Then by using his vast coverage in the media to get people thinking about the evils and hypocrisy of the arms trade, we may find a solution, as it certainly doesn't seem to be doing people or the planet any good

not at all, but partly put your own house in order first.

That might take longer than the lifetime of one pope..

In terms of homsexuality, didn't he say something along the lines of "who am i to judge"?

Just to be fair, I should point out that any videos and most pics you post are greyed out for me so I just make up what I reckon they are - usually more informative I expect 😉

The small it about dictating that people who don't believe in his God can't get married as they don't like it, discrimination 101 really. There are also a lot of apologies to be given before telling other people they are shit. Sorry for quoting back that old Bible thing but apparently it's important. The Catholic Church sits up there with McDonald's and coke, few free sports pitches and sponsor the Olympics and we will forget the rest.

@mefty he's due back up in front of the royal commission again, it's it been going well so far. Don't expect it to get better - that's not a lefty media spin that's lawyers taking time to process evidence and present it.
