Well as per the title my whyte 146 works is in for its second BB.

What is going on with Whyte and bearings?

Such a get bike just needs constant repair

Well who ever the make model or design 2 sets of bearings in 12 months is having a laugh?

So is it the design of the press fit bb that causes the short life span or is it normal for the bb to need replacing after 5 months?

RaceFace used to last weeks if you were lucky 🙄
No experience personally but press fit do appear to be made of cheese from what I have seen

i used one of theses and a hope external bb bracket no problems to report so far

The link above will only suit pf bb30 not pf to suit 24mm axels the only issue with using them is that made of plastic they require much less torque to fit the actual bb.

Edit

My bad Just checked I see that the white is pf bb30 so the above product will work with care.
